Turns out I have edited firefox's menu entry to get it to use KDE. So that's

After logging out/in. I tried the shortcut again. Didn't work.

This just happened to me on Kubuntu 20.04
Thank goodness for the trash bin.
I saw "file:" in my ~ and figured I probably did something stupid to create it

It also doesn't seem to honor the .dmrc (last session). On my systems
Session=plasma and lightdm still doesn't start plasma.
Work okay with the gtk theme.
