Yes -- I tried with a separate user account, so the digikamrc was brand new.
And yes, when I press the reset button, the dropdown goes back to "Any tag".
That works fine.

Yes.
It's also ignoring "Terminal=true" in the .desktop file. Setting a shortcut in
"Global Shortcuts" for mutt.desktop didn't work either until I edited it as
above.
