This bug still exists.
But Konqueror is venerable old software. Is it in active development ?
Just to check on this bug, I installed Konqueor in Manjaro, my present
distribution. Surpising,it is still working

Sorry, I did not follow up on this bug.
Also, kmplayer does not seem to be part of the Main KDE now a days. In Manjaro,
it is only available in AUR, and not building. I cannot test.

But when it worked today,it is still asking for root password.I am sure,for own
