Note: the misalignment happens all over the file, I spend about two days
(between life and such) fixing the holes, render a video with no issues, then
when I open again... misalignment all over again.

I had the same problem in leap 42.1. In tumbleweed also produced the error, I
discovered that the problem is in the umask present in fstab. I removed the
umask and the problem solved.
