Yes, I've tried downgrading Plasma to 5.20.5 while keeping kde-frameworks at
5.82.0, and it worked for me.

I didn't reset my settings before, during or after upgrade. I didn't remove or
add/readd panels. But I had no pinned applications since I prefer traditional

Updated to plasma-workspace 5.20.5. Bug is still present. Attached application
still reproduces issue. Linked patch still fixes issue, although it had to be
rebased again.

it happens only if 'Oxygen' Look and Feel theme is used. If I switch to Breeze
or Breeze Dark, issue disappears.

I've just noticed while trying different settings that if I select 'On the tab
bar' in 'Close Tab button' combobox in same menu, I see the line on the
appearing button too.
