Also, if you want to copy metadata from one video file to another you can use
this command:
ffmpeg -i in.mp4 -i out.mp4 -map 1 -map_metadata 0 -c copy fixed.mp4
in.mp4 – the original file before conversion

Mediainfo reads the date well:
mediainfo FILE.mp4 | grep "Encoded date" | head -n 1
Example output:

I just installed the latest QtAV 1.11 bundle on my desktop. There is sound if I
open a file in an external QtAV player but there is no sound if I preview the

Looks like the output depends on the codec. Videos straight out of phone just
lag in the beginning, videos compressed using ffmpeg are slideshows (very very
slow)

I am already seeing that some tags coming back properly e.g. /Activities/
snowboarding but some of them showing up in the root not in the group e.g.
