            Bug ID: 445965
Summary: Allow a one time change to charging threshold
           Product: Powerdevil
           Version: 5.23.3
          Platform: Other
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org
          Reporter: m...@iyanmv.com
  Target Milestone: ---

It would be nice if we could do a quick one time change to the charging
thresholds (for example, with a button in the battery and brightness applet
next to the "your battery is configured to only charge up to x %.").

The situation is the following. I guess most people that set up this thresholds
is to try to extend battery life. For example, I connect my laptop every day to
a docking station at work, so I have charge_control_start_threshold = 40% and
charge_control_end_threshold = 80%. This way, I can always quickly unplug the
laptop from the docking station and have enough battery to go to a meeting,
work on the train, etc. (you get the idea).

However, when I know I will need a 100% for whatever reason (a trip, for
example), I need to go to System Settings -> Power Management -> Advanced Power
Management and change the thresholds. After that, next time I also have to
remember to go back to previous thresholds.

My proposal is to add button that resets start and end thresholds to 0% and
100% only for one time.
