How can he be contacted. I found the gitpage of libinput. But as far as I know

Not being familiar with trackpoint hardware, I don't know what press-to-select
means, sorry. You'd need to ask the Libinput developer Peter Hutterer regarding
what trackpoint features Libinput supports nowadays.
