            Bug ID: 485871
Summary: Various Products Reference Plasma 5 / Frameworks 5
                    specifically
    Classification: Websites
           Product: bugs.kde.org
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Other
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: database
          Assignee: sysad...@kde.org
          Reporter: eamonn...@protonmail.com
                CC: she...@kde.org
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
Various parts of https://bugs.kde.org/ make explicit reference to Plasma 5 or
other KDE 5 products. Since Plasma 5 is still around in various distributions,
and to make this more future-proof, perhaps these strings should be changed to
simply say "Plasma"?

I took a look at the code for this site and I don't think the language strings
are explicitly defined here in the code, they appear to come from a DB table
for classifications.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Visit, for example, https://bugs.kde.org/enter_bug.cgi?classification=Plasma
2. Observe that, for example, `Plasmashell` says Multipurpose shell based on
Qt5/QtQuick2/KF5. Use this for bugs in Plasma 5's shell and applets.
3. Some components simply say "Plasma" and some, like above, explicitly refer
to Plasma 5. But you can (and should afaik :-)) report Plasma 6 bugs in this
category.

OBSERVED RESULT
Some parts of the KDE Bug Tracker make reference to Plasma 5/KDE 5/Qt5/etc.

EXPECTED RESULT
The KDE Bug Tracker should make reference to Plasma 6, or no Plasma version at
all.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
N/A

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
The "Expected behaviour" listed here is a bit generic. Whatever improvement the
KDE team decide upon is probably fine, the main fix should be to include
reference to Plasma 6 either in place of, or alongside, Plasma 5, or to remove
explicit mention of a Plasma version altogether.
