The Chinese language in tags actually seems to cause a problem. Although the
set Chinese tag in Explorer appears here in digiKam, but with confused
characters. As it seems, Windows Explorer encodes the metadata

Look here: Bug 406445 or Bug 406540 a similar problem.
DigiKam searches multiple metadata fields for tags, Explorer only changes one
