I have several external harddrives with collections on them. Of course they
have unique names.
I do not remember each name/ drive combination (old age problem, I know). So I
can see that a collection is not

I don't quite understand the problem of how you organize your collections. Is
it about them being able to see which collection is mounted in the album tree?
Or do you have identical albums on different hard drives
