            Bug ID: 422998
Summary: Newlines in filenames are not shown in any way
           Product: dolphin
           Version: 20.04.2
          Platform: Archlinux Packages
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general

dolphin exibiting the bug

SUMMARY
Newlines in filenames are not shown in any way.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Navigate to a directory containing files which have newlines in their names

OBSERVED RESULT
The newlines in the filenames are not rendered in dolphin at all.

EXPECTED RESULT
The newlines should be visually distinguished in some way, e.g. actually
showing the filename on multiple lines, showing escape sequences, etc.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: Arch Linux
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.70.0
Qt Version: 5.15.0

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
I accidentally put a bunch of newlines in filenames because of this bug, which
lead me to discover another quirk: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=422997

I uploaded two screenshots. One is of dolphin exibiting the bug. The other is
an example of pcmanfm rendering the newline-laden filename in what I think is a
sensible way.
