Bug ID: 406477 Summary: Better support for multiple user-saved playlists Product: elisa Version: unspecified Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: matthieu_gall...@yahoo.fr Reporter: n...@kde.org Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 119382 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=119382&action=edit How Lollypop handles saved playlists Right now Elisa does support user-saved playlists. You can save the current playlist to disk, and open it later via the file open dialog. However this is a pretty awkward workflow compared to other music players I've used. Here are some ways that the UX could be inproved: - When a playlist is saved, don't spawn a save dialog; instead, ask for a name and automatically save it to an appropriate location on disk (presumably somewhere in ~/Music?) - All saved playlists should be visible in a new "Saved Playlists" item in the sidebar This would allow user-saved playlists to actually be useful because you could access them quickly using the main UI rather than having to tediously open them using a dialog. I'm attaching a screenshot of how Lollypop does it, for comparison. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
