Opening .kdenlive file directly or via open or open recent menu items, in deb
or snap installations, normally or using gdb, causes kdenlive to crash after
project is 24% loaded. I am able to open a smaller older project without
error.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open kdenlive
2. Open project
OBSERVED RESULT
Project starts to open. Progress shows 24%. kdenlive hangs briefly then shuts
down ungracefully (disappears with no warning).
Smaller older project opens without error.
EXPECTED RESULT
Project should open
