Bug ID: 473078 Summary: Cannot render Timeline Preview when it reaches a title Classification: Applications Product: kdenlive Version: 23.04.3 Platform: Flatpak OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: major Priority: NOR Component: Video Display & Export Assignee: j...@kdenlive.org Reporter: rlacr...@insa-toulouse.fr Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 160780 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=160780&action=edit minimal reproducing example with a video, a color clip, an image and a title. Only the title crashes the rendering STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open a file 2. put a title in the timeline 3. render the timeline preview. OBSERVED RESULT Whatever the selected profile is, the render stops immediately, with a message I could not click on in the project on which I encountered the bug. I managed to make a minimal reproducing file on which I had a clickable “show details” giving me : ``` [h264_vaapi @ 0x7f1588201f80] Driver does not support some wanted packed headers (wanted 0xd, found 0).[h264_vaapi @ 0x7f1588201f80] Driver does not support packed sequence headers, but a global header is requested.[h264_vaapi @ 0x7f1588201f80] No global header will be written: this may result in a stream which is not usable for some purposes (e.g. not muxable to some containers).[h264_vaapi @ 0x7f1578001f40] Driver does not support some wanted packed headers (wanted 0xd, found 0).[h264_vaapi @ 0x7f1578001f40] Driver does not support packed sequence headers, but a global header is requested.[h264_vaapi @ 0x7f1578001f40] No global header will be written: this may result in a stream which is not usable for some purposes (e.g. not muxable to some containers).[h264_vaapi @ 0x7f1570001f40] Driver does not support some wanted packed headers (wanted 0xd, found 0).[h264_vaapi @ 0x7f1570001f40] Driver does not support packed sequence headers, but a global header is requested.[h264_vaapi @ 0x7f1570001f40] No global header will be written: this may result in a stream which is not usable for some purposes (e.g. not muxable to some containers).[h264_vaapi @ 0x7f1568001f40] Driver does not support some wanted packed headers (wanted 0xd, found 0).[h264_vaapi @ 0x7f1568001f40] Driver does not support packed sequence headers, but a global header is requested.[h264_vaapi @ 0x7f1568001f40] No global header will be written: this may result in a stream which is not usable for some purposes (e.g. not muxable to some containers).[h264_vaapi @ 0x7f1574026d40] Driver does not support some wanted packed headers (wanted 0xd, found 0).[h264_vaapi @ 0x7f1574026d40] Driver does not support packed sequence headers, but a global header is requested.[h264_vaapi @ 0x7f1574026d40] No global header will be written: this may result in a stream which is not usable for some purposes (e.g. not muxable to some containers). ``` EXPECTED RESULT No crash and full render of the preview, previewing is truly necessary once effects start to pile up, especially for those with less powerful computers.
