THANK YOU

Hi, there.

First, thank you all the developers and all users involved with KDEnlive
project.

I thought about this feature, but, since I am not developer and I don't know
the difficult to develop things, I found the easiest way to create this feature
would be "recycle" what we already have.

FEATURE REQUEST

Create some "action", (sorry, I don't know the right word) to maximize the
waveform zoom in clip monitor. This "action" would localize in clip monitor
hamburger options (More Options...). The possibility to add some custom
keyboard shortcut would be so cool too. And, the most important thing, this
state of waveform zoom must be persistent, when change to other clips, until
the user "return" to default behavior.

With persistent, I mean: today, with the KDEnlive 23.08.1, if you zoom in the
clip monitor waveform with Ctrl + scroll the mouse wheel down (only way to do
this, as far as I know), and select other clip in Project Bin, the state of
clip monitor waveform will reset to lowest zoom (it zoom out completely).

WHY ADD IT?

I think it feature would be nice since almost of time, I make decoupage work to
my projects, creating marks and organize the content with "Insert Zone to
Project Bin" feature.

Mainly when I take use of "Insert Zone to Project Bin", I feel the need of
"persistent" behavior: if you create some "clip" with "Insert Zone to Project
Bin" and want rename, when you select it, the zoom of clip monitor waveform
will be lost. So, when you come back to the clip what you making the
decoupage, it will necessary to maximize the zoom with Ctrl + scroll the mouse
wheel down, what take so many time and it's really annoying to do.

FINAL THOUGHT

I describe the core about this feature, so feel free to modify. You could tell
me to add the clip to the timeline and make the decoupage task there, but the
clip monitor is more convenient and you don't need overcharge the sequence with
clips (ok, you have the nested timeline and the possibility to dedicate only
one sequence to this process, but this feature is in your first steps and I do
not feel confident to use this "way".)

I really appreciate if you read here, since I took time to translate to English
(my mother language is Portuguese, :P ).
