Hello, if you select the option "Automatically select filename extension" in
KDialog, when saving files from Google Chrome / Chromium the files are always
saved with a .bin extension instead of anything else.
I thought I was the only one hitting this issue until I found this in the
Antegros forums:

The workaround posted by @ppsalama over there (to deselect the option) works
and leaves the extension as expected.
