Hello thanks for your work.
I have no problem with Chrome 90.0 or VLC 3.12 to play mp4 videos.
I get no problem with firefox 88.0 from mozilla.org.
I can play .mp4 file with the player in the data panel.

I made an error.
There is no more thumbnail for any mp4, ts files old or new.
There is an icon with movie thumbnails for each folder icon.

For many years i used this feature. So all necessary packages are installed.
Just before updating to 20.12.0 there was no problem.
