I recently build Kio-Extras to get Xcursor previews on Dolphin. After
installing the built binaries I had no entry on Dolphin so I created the
following file:
cursorthumbnail.desktop
Contents of file:
[Desktop Entry]

Name=Cursor Thumbnail
ServiceTypes=ThumbCreator
MimeType=image/x-xcursor;
CacheThumbnail=true
