            Bug ID: 361230
           Summary: Dataloss on exit
           Product: kontact
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Kubuntu Packages
                OS: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: critical
          Priority: NOR
         Component: contacts
          Assignee: to...@kde.org
          Reporter: twxp...@yahoo.com
                CC: kdepim-b...@kde.org

When you have pending datachanges on the kontact form. It's possible to close
the form without saving change or allowing a recovery of pending changes.

While coping lots of detail into contacts one wrong click will close the form
without recovery.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Contact
2. Type in Any Changes
3. Close the Program

Actual Results:
Any changes will be lost.

Expected Results:
Expect a prompt confirming quit and when returning to contact a prompt for
pending unsaved edits.

Filing this under Critical because of the data lose was the result in a major
client loss. It was a significant loss we will not recover from in the near
future.

I hope this can be addressed with a simple confirmation prompt on form close or
a recover prompt on contact open.

Documentation was also light so we couldn't see about recovering from a temp
directory.
