With older versions of korganizer, the dropdown list used to choose in which
calendar to put a new event used to default to the calendar marked as “Default
calendar” in the Calendar Manager. With 5.2.3, there is still an option called
“Use as default calendar” in the Calendar Manager, but it seems to have no
effect. Instead, the dropdown list seems to default to the item selected last
time it was opened.
