Bug ID: 379529 Summary: Krita build instructions are hard to follow. Product: krita Version: git master Platform: MS Windows OS: MS Windows Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: krita-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: r03...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- Hello, I thought of marking this as "wishlist" but the instructions are keeping me from doing any development at all. I don't doubt people who currently have the build process working can build the project, but it is almost impossible to set up and does not seem to produce repeatable results. This is not a criticism of this project specifically; many Windows projects have this problem, and a good many of them came from a Unix or Linux codebase. It is my recommendation that the project be ported to the KDE on Windows project's Craft buildsystem (https://community.kde.org/Guidelines_and_HOWTOs/Build_from_source/Windows). This would make many of the steps currently in the build process redundant, and allow for the reuse of the directory structure already present for other KDE dependencies. I would offer to do this myself but I can't make heads or tails of Craft. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
