No, that wouldn't matter. It's the same application. But like I said, it's most
likely a problem with the wacom tablet settings, not a bug in Krita. Offset
issues are _always_ a problem with the tablet's driver se

Didn't work; actual drawing point is still a cm off from stylus point.
Maybe its the version of Krita? Do you think the portable version would
work better on laptop? There didn't seem to be a difference with my old
lap

Try to reset the wacom settings. When I use my cintiq hybrid companion with my
laptop, I have to do that regularly. Somehow they get corrupted quite easily.
