SUMMARY
I have a vector shape that has a gradient for the lines. I don't know how I
managed to fill it with white because now, whenever I select it the fill
changes to black and no matter if I try to pick another color, it quickly
switches back to black. Even a gradient won't work, it can only be black. I can
remove the filling and that does work and remains unfilled.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. have a vector object with a non-black filling And gradient line
2. select it with the select shapes tool

OBSERVED RESULT
the vector object is selected and the fill of the object becomes black,
replacing whatever color it had in the beginning

EXPECTED RESULT
the vector object is selected, nothing changes
