SUMMARY
If you invert selection to select a small area from selecting the whole rest of
the canvas, somehow the selection size ends up being the size of whole canvas.

git d65c3f4

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. draw a closed shape, such as a small circle or whatnot.
2. select the outside area of that shape with contiguous selection tool, and
then invert the selection(Ctrl + Shift + I).
3. Fill the shape using bucket(fill) tool or shortcuts.

OBSERVED RESULT
The layer size expands to the maximum.

EXPECTED RESULT
It should stay small, the size about the shape itself.
