Another observation: this problem only happens when "Remember the current
virtual desktop for each activity" option is selected in the System Settings >
Desktop Behaviour > Activities > Switching.

I just noticed that the same problem happens when I try to use "wmctrl -a
Firefox" instead of krunner. So, this is likely not a bug in krunner but in the
window manager (Kwin).
