Bug ID: 457089 Summary: Media Player plugin doesn't release wake-lock. Product: ktorrent Version: 22.04.3 Platform: openSUSE RPMs OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: joris.guis...@gmail.com Reporter: lemuelsimo...@protonmail.com Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY After playing a video in KTorrent via the Media Player plugin, KTorrent doesn't release the wake-lock, preventing screen-locking or sleep from occurring long after the video is finished or stopped. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open KTorrent. 2. Enable the Media Player plugin under the 'Plugins' tab. 3. Play a video in KTorrent using the Media Player. OBSERVED RESULT The 'Battery & Brightness' widget still reports KTorrent having the wake-lock active. The laptop stays on, no screen-locking occurs unless triggered explicitly. EXPECTED RESULT KTorrent will release the wake-lock as soon as playback has finished. Operating System: openSUSE Leap 15.4 KDE Plasma Version: 5.25.3 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.96.0 Qt Version: 5.15.5 Kernel Version: 5.14.21-150400.22-default (64-bit) Graphics Platform: X11 Processors: 4 × Intel® Core™ i5-3320M CPU @ 2.60GHz Memory: 7.6 GiB of RAM Graphics Processor: Mesa DRI Intel® HD Graphics 4000 Manufacturer: LENOVO Product Name: 2347G2U System Version: ThinkPad T430 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION I am using the Phonon GStreamer-backend, but I haven't noticed the same behavior with other media players using the framework (Dragon Media Player). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
