Bug ID: 440284 Summary: No way to reset opacity to full once changed with mouse wheel Product: kwin Version: 5.22.3 Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: compositing Assignee: kwin-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: tankta...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY Having set the "Window Management -> Window Behavior -> Window Actions -> Inner Window, Titlebar and Frame Actions -> Mouse wheel" option to "Change opacity", I am finding that, once I've changed a window's opacity to be something other than full opacity, I cannot scroll the wheel with the modifier key pressed to get it back to full opacity. Further, the scroll wheel action still bleeds through to the underlying window, scrolling my browser window, for example. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Set "Window Management -> Window Behavior -> Window Actions -> Inner Window, Titlebar and Frame Actions -> Mouse wheel" to "Change opacity" 2. Use your modifier key while scrolling the wheel. 3. Try to scroll back to full opacity OBSERVED RESULT Opacity cannot return to full. EXPECTED RESULT Can get the opacity back to 100% SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: - macOS: - Linux/KDE Plasma: 5.22.3 (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: 5.22.3 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.84.0 Qt Version: 5.15.2 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Gentoo, NVidia binary driver, GeForce GTX 1050 -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
