I noticed I can always trigger the bug by dragging the image from a Chromium
based browser and moving the mouse fast over the panel, at the very edge of the

Ok, then maybe that's not what happened. Did *Plasma* crash and fail to
restart? What does `coredumpctl list plasmashell` say?
