STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Create several desktops
2. Open the desktop grid (meta+g)
OBSERVED RESULT
The desktops will be displayed horizontally, even though there is plenty of
space vertically.
It is possible to define the number of lines for the virtual desktops and thus
make better use of the screen space, but this will make the pager widget so
small that it will be practically impossible to use it

EXPECTED RESULT
The effect could be to better organize the layout of the desktop areas, making
better use of the available space.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Something could be done in the pager widget as well, such as forcing a specific
number of lines for it, but as kwin is much more active and well maintained
than this widget, I thought it best to report it here.
