I am able to reproduce the issue with Fedora Rawhide (unstable release).
Lokalize opened without file, once file selected, it crashed.

lokalize has known problems on wayland, this is more extreme than usual, but
yeah, i think the plan is force x11/xwayland for now

The first of your two options gave exactly the same result as before. I believe
that the second one contains a typo...
export QT_QPA_PLATFORM=cxcb
should perhaps be
export QT_QPA_PLATFORM=xcb (cxcb = xcb)

Unfortunately that's not what i wanted.
You should not restart anything after the export, try this again
export DEBUGINFOD_URLS="https://debuginfod.ubuntu.com;
lokalize
And see if that helps in give more
