Bug ID: 449049 Summary: Default resolution should not be set to the highest resolution available Product: neon Version: unspecified Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: wishlist Priority: NOR Component: Live/Install images Assignee: neon-b...@kde.org Reporter: loudsq...@tutanota.com CC: j...@jriddell.org, neon-b...@kde.org, sit...@kde.org Target Milestone: --- I've been using the LiveUSB on a few different machines in order to resize partitions and I've noticed that it defaults to the highest resolution available. My laptop is 3200x1800 and my HTPC is 4096x2160 both of these resolutions make the text too small to read. It's a pain having to set these back to something human readable like 1920x1080 every single time I boot up the LiveUSB. I think it's awesome that out of the box KDE can apply super high resolutions but it's more of a hindrance than a help. Is it possible to have set the resolution to a readable default and allow the user to change it if they want it higher? Defaulting to the highest isn't the best. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
