Pretty sure. Apps generally don't have any code to manually do this; it's all
controlled by ksmserver, which is known to have issues with restoring apps on
their correct desktops. I don't know what the pattern is

@Nate: are you sure it's a duplicate of that bug. I found that every app I
tried was restored to the correct desktop except System Monitor.
At one point I had eight apps on eight different desktops including
