I deleted the whole KScree dicertory in ~/.local/share. As for plasma, I just
cd'd into and ran "rm -rf plasma*" and rebooted. You'll loose a few settings

Running 5.7.2+p16.04+git* in neon unstable ppa as of last night seems to be far
more behaved in use today, putting the task bar where I want it, and not
