            Bug ID: 370992
Summary: Search is broken in Application Dashboard
           Product: plasmashell
           Version: 5.7.5
          Platform: Fedora RPMs
                OS: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: Application Launcher (Kickoff)
          Assignee: k...@davidedmundson.co.uk
          Reporter: sud...@sudhirkhanger.com
                CC: plasma-b...@kde.org

When I search for a file in the AppDash it show me results of directories and
files that have never been opened. It would show me pretty random files say
from sdk folder which would typically contain like 10k text files but it never
shows me one file that I open everyday and is available in the recent document
history too.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. open a document which will probably get added in recent document
2. search for the document
3.

Actual Results:
The recent document or any useful document opened by a user are never shown in
the app dash search instead it shows random files from sdk folder or bookmarks.

Expected Results:
At least recent documents should get much more priority. Priority of files that
have never been opened should be severely reduced.

Please see the attached image. For example, I open the file Udacity Ap..
everyday. If you look for that file you won't find it in the search results
shown by AppDash.
