            Bug ID: 392523
Summary: Run apps on dedicated GPU
           Product: plasmashell
           Version: master
          Platform: Other
                OS: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: k...@davidedmundson.co.uk
          Reporter: kamika...@web.de
                CC: plasma-b...@kde.org
  Target Milestone: 1.0

If a second GPU is present, the context menu of an application's icon should
display the option to run it using the dedicated GPU. If possible, it should be
a generic feature that works across all application launchers – K menu, panel,
desktop icons.

switcheroo-control <https://github.com/hadess/switcheroo-control> is a D-Bus
service to check the availability of a second GPU.

The same feature in Gnome
<https://github.com/GNOME/gnome-shell/commit/009d021e4f93bfce69d1f4497612d804c88972b6>
required only 51 lines of code.
