Bug ID: 423880 Summary: Parts of open windows readable when locking screen while 'Show desktop' is active Product: plasmashell Version: 5.19.2 Platform: Manjaro OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: Lock/logout Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org Reporter: christ.de...@gmail.com Target Milestone: 1.0 Created attachment 129900 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=129900&action=edit Taken in the lockscreen When you press Ctrl+D ('Show desktop') all open windows will move to the four corners of the screen and half opaque, so that the user can see what's on the desktop. Locking the screen in this state does not cover up this effect, resulting in readable parts of open windows although the screen is locked. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open at least one window. 2. Press Ctrl+D to show the desktop. 3. Press Ctrl+L to lock the screen. OBSERVED RESULT Lockscreen does not cover the open windows. EXPECTED RESULT No windows, just lockscreen.
