Bug ID: 427339 Summary: Systemd startup: System Tray applet doesn't appear in panel and is in a half-broken state Product: plasmashell Version: master Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: k...@davidedmundson.co.uk Reporter: n...@kde.org CC: plasma-b...@kde.org Target Milestone: 1.0 When using Systemd startup, the System Tray applet does not appear in my panel. However attempting to add a new System Tray widget fails, as if the existing one is secretly there but just not visible, and is blocking a new one from sharing the same panel. In fact, there is a System Tray entry in ~/.config/plasma-org.kde.plasma.desktop-appletsrc, but with no settings; all my user customizations have been erased. If I remove this phantom entry from that file and restart plasmashell, I can add a new System Tray applet and it appears normally and works properly. But them the bug happens again the next time I restart plasmashell. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
