SUMMARY
On Fedora 37 under Xorg, Plasma Application Launcher performs sluggish when
moving the mouse pointer over the application categories. For testing, I
installed Kubuntu 22.04.2 (also under Xorg) on the same laptop (Acer F5-572G
from 2015, i5-6200u processor, 8 gigs RAM, SATA SSD).
I created a screen record on both of the distros to show the difference in menu
behaviour. For some reason the screen record on Fedora 37 flashes (the screen
doesn't flash when I was creating the recording).
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. move mouse pointer over the application categories in Application Launcher

Plasma 5.27.4 performs slower than Plasma 5.24.7
