Bug ID: 483594 Summary: Plasma panel won't dodge windows if placed between dual monitors Classification: Plasma Product: plasmashell Version: 6.0.2 Platform: Arch Linux OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: Panel Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org Reporter: a...@alexdelorenzo.dev CC: niccolo.venera...@gmail.com Target Milestone: 1.0 SUMMARY I have a primary monitor on my left and a secondary monitor on the right. If I create a Plasma panel on the right side of the primary screen and set it to "Dodge windows", it will never dodge windows and will always be shown. If I move that same panel to the left side of the primary screen, or the bottom of the screen, that panel will dodge windows. It's only when the panel is on the right side of the primary screen next to the secondary screen does it not dodge windows. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Add a screen to the right of your primary screen 2. Add a default panel 3. Set it to dodge windows 4. Set the position to the bottom, watch it dodge windows 5. Set the position to the right, watch it always remain present and not dodge windows OBSERVED RESULT The panel on the rightmost side of the leftmost screen does not dodge windows. EXPECTED RESULT Panels should dodge windows when set to 'Dodge windows" SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: Arch Linux KDE Plasma Version: 6.0.2 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.0.0 Qt Version: 6.6.2 Kernel Version: 6.7.9 Graphics Platform: Wayland -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
