See https://community.kde.org/Guidelines_and_HOWTOs/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports *** Since a recent upgrade to Qt 5.15.6, any attempt to start skrooge results in a fatal crash and the following message: ##FATAL: Cannot mix incompatible Qt library (5.15.5) with this library (5.15.6) KCrash: Application 'skrooge' crashing... KCrash: Attempting to start /usr/libexec/drkonqi STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. sudo dnf install skrooge 2. skrooge OBSERVED RESULT The crash described above. EXPECTED RESULT Skrooge starting up. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: Fedora 36, KDE Plasma 5.25.5 (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: 5.25.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.98.0 Qt Version: 5.15.6 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION I also rebuilt and installed Skrooge (as version 2.28) from source, because I thought building it against the Qt5 version available in the system would help. But it resulted in the same error. I have been using Skrooge for more than ten years regularly, and in many versions of Fedora, KDE and Qt. This is the first time I get a problem like this. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
