            Bug ID: 444569
Summary: Keyboard layout shortcuts activate wrong language
                    [regression]
           Product: systemsettings
           Version: 5.22.5
          Platform: Ubuntu Packages
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: kcm_keyboard
          Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org
          Reporter: to.roma.from.kde...@qwertty.com
                CC: butir...@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

1. Set up three keyboard layouts, say, English, Ukrainian(winkeys) and Russian
2. Enable spare layouts with 2 main layouts
3. Set up keyboard shortcuts for each particular language

Expected behavior: the main layout switch key toggles between English and
another language. I can press the shortcut for a particular language to specify
which of the two Slavic languages should be paired with English for the time
being.

Actual behavior: Cryptic. The shortcut for English works most of the time. When
the main layouts are English and Russian, everything works. But when the main
layouts are English and Ukrainian, the shortcuts for Russian and Ukrainian are
swapped. If I press the shortcuts too often, they sometimes deviate from the
above in unpredictable ways.

KDE 5.22.5 (Ubuntu 21.10)
This is a regression, 5.21.4 (Ubuntu 21.04) worked fine.
