Bug ID: 464546 Summary: File Catalog should have functionality to re-scan volumes, updating file lists Classification: Applications Product: tellico Version: unspecified Platform: Other OS: Other Status: REPORTED Severity: wishlist Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: ro...@periapsis.org Reporter: ro...@periapsis.org Target Milestone: --- https://forum.kde.org/viewtopic.php?f=200&t=176993 The problem: I do a lot of video editing, and have a lot of "stock" footage, as well as new files coming and going all the time. These are stored across several hard drives - let's call them HD1, HD2, HD3 and HD4 for simplicity. I have created a collection and scanned the drives, creating volumes within the collection of HD1, HD2, etc. So far, so good. It is easy to search for what I want. BUT: The files within those volumes change, as new items are added and old ones deleted. For the life of me, I have been unable to find out how to re-scan the media (HD1, etc) to bring the contents up to date. In cd-cat (and Gwhere before it) this was very simple, but as far as I can see, there is no facility to do this within Tellico. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
