Hi David, I hear what you are saying, so does that mean plasmashell 5.4.2 (and
presumably later releases) simply will not work with the latest official NVidia
Drivers 358.16?

I am also curious why Unity and GNOME seem unaffected by this problem.

Andre Heinecke changed:

 Ever confirmed|0 |1

Well the Info is shown if you know your RFC's ;-)
https://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc4880#section-5.2.1 Clearly indicates that the
"Status" kleopatra shows as "class 48" means that it is a signature of type:
0x30: Certification revocation signature

This was a joke :-). Kleopatra users should not have to know the signature
types defined in the RFC.

So confirmed as a bug. This dialog needs an overhaul. Only the identity
confirming signatures should be shown. And revocation needs to be clearer
indicated. I'm not sure that removing them would be the best. I rather think we
could use the Status Column for that. Color it in Green normally and if it was
revoked color it in red and add a tooltip "This Certification was revoked on
"

Product: Breeze

so no need for any action. Your nvidia/Xorg issues could be reported, but
probably belong to either nvidia, freedesktop.org or kernel.org.

sudo apt-get build-dep kaccounts-integration
apt-get source kaccounts-integration
cd kaccounts-integration-15.08.3/ (this is if you are using
kubuntu-ppa, otherwise it will be version 15.08.2)
patch with

(patch -p0 < yourpatch)
update debian/changelog with a new version number or your changes will be
overwritten at next package upgrade
dpkg-source --commit
dpkg-buildpackage
cd ../
sudo dpkg -i *.deb

It seems that this feedback does not really fit to my system configuration.
The graphic driver is provided by the script "NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-352.79.run"
here since a few days. The reported error message can still be reproduced if I
reactivate the desired OpenGL/GLX support once more.

No, there is no specification which tells Gtk to provide this.
I agree that it is related to breeze because GTK is kindly reporting the
warning.
GTK is not crashing but I have other issues relating to Xorg with Nvidia

So how do I report a bug for the breeze theme?

Always show recursive "missing include" errors in problem view

Extend the missing-include test so that it becomes a recursive

visible together with my previous commit to kdevplatform.

[plasmashell] [Bug 358879] New: Kickoff does not respond to changes made in "Plasma Search" options, but it should.

2016-02-01 Thread Jesse via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=358879

Bug ID: 358879
Summary: Kickoff does not respond to changes made in "Plasma
Search" options, but it should.
   Product: plasmashell
   Version: 5.5.4
  Platform: Archlinux Packages
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: Application Launcher (Kickoff)
  Assignee: k...@davidedmundson.co.uk
  Reporter: jesse.dub...@gmail.com
CC: plasma-b...@kde.org

When I go to Plasma Search and enable/disable the selected results I want to
show when I search in Kickoff, it doesn't change results. If I disable
documents, it still shows documents. If I disable Bookmarks, it still shows
bookmarks.

It's behavior should reflect the search results chosen in Plasma Search.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Plasma Search module.
2. Choose the results you want to show.
3. Open Kickoff and begin search.

Actual Results:
Kickoff shows all result options.

Expected Results:
Kickoff should show results based on selected results in Plasma Search.

Tested while using KDE Plasma 5.5.4 on Antergos (Arch) Linux x64, kernel
4.3.3-3-ARCH.

Thanks for the bug report. Can you try if disabling the "Activities" context
menu plugin ("Services" in the settings dialog) helps to avoid these crashes
(note that bug 351485 looks similar)?

That setting is only for krunner, the dialog fetched with alt+f2.

As kickoff uses a smaller subset, they shouldn't be linked.

I don't want to force you to do superfluous backporting work (better spend your
time on fixing other bugs;-) ) so I'll trust you that you got everything
right.

Just tell me which version will have the fixed code, and I'll report back as
soon as it is released and packaged for openSUSE Tumbleweed ;-)

Always show recursive "missing include" errors in problem view

Extend the missing-include test so that it becomes a recursive
include and also tests this fix. The problem is only actually
visible together with my previous commit to kdevplatform.

[trojita] [Bug 358898] IMAP Protocol Error

Unfortunately, this is a bug in the IMAP server (which is reported as Openwave
Messaging, Email Mx, version M.9.00.021.00 201-2473-182).

The IMAP server violates formal protocol syntax of the IMAP protocol by sending
the mailbox name through the "atom" production even though it contains a space.
Such names must be transmitted either via the "quoted" or through the "literal"
productions -- see https://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc3501#section-9 for details.

Could you please file a ticket at your IMAP server vendor with a reference to
this bugreport?

[kontact] [Bug 358888] New: Multible password dialogs

2016-02-01 Thread Sascha Gaspar via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=35

Bug ID: 35
   Summary: Multible password dialogs
   Product: kontact
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: Other
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: minor
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: kdepim-b...@kde.org
  Reporter: sascha.gas...@gmx.de

After startup the password window goes in a timeout when no password is typed
in. Then the wallet is not opened and kontact loses the passwords for the mail
servers. Kontact should wait for the mail server password prompt until the
opening of the wallet is cancelled by the user.

(Why isn't version 5.1.1 of Kontact selecable in the bug tracker?)

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start the PC
2. Login into Klasma 5 Kontact
3. Starts automatically on my PC, if that's not the case on yours, start
Kontact
4. Don't type in the wallet password

Actual Results:
There is a windows from the KDE Wallet Service with a retry and a cancel button
and a Password promt window for the mail server password.

Expected Results:
Kontact should show only one password window, either from the wallet opening or
for the mail server password

After the mail server password dialog pops up, kontact does not use the
password from the wallet anymore although the wallet is opened afer the window
pops up

I see nepomuk in crash trace. Did you enable Baloo support options in digiKam
Metadata settings page ? If yes, it's know to make digiKam unsuitable due to
bugs in KDE::Baloo interface.

Disabling this option must fix the problem.

[konsole] [Bug 350636] Konsole sometimes crashes when exiting with EOF

New crash information added by DrKonqi

konsole (15.12.1) using Qt 5.5.1

- What I was doing when the application crashed:
Closed Konsole by middle-clicking on its entry in the taskbar.

- Unusual behavior I noticed:
I've set FreeSans as the default font in my Arch installation. When I search
for an application in the application launcher, query text bleeds out of the
search field.

- Custom settings of the application:
None known except for the little aesthetic bug in previous "Unusual behavior I
noticed" part.
