[dolphin] [Bug 370261] segfault on pressing Del key

Any chance you were > running the Plasma Wayland session? (in which case this could be bug 362899) I'm 100% sure that it was usual XOrg-server session because (offtopic) SDDM doesn't even allow me to start Wayland session - all that I get further is black sreen and insensitivity to any key press. [kdenlive] [Bug 363363] Speed effect in 16.04.1 has absolute path to video file, leads to INVALID clips (breaks project conversion from 15.x to 16.04.1)
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=363363 Wegwerfchanged: What|Removed |Added CC||wegwerf-1-...@gmx.de --- Comment #1 from Wegwerf --- Stefan, can you please supply the project files? In particular, what is the root attribute of the mlt element which is at the root of the kdenlive project file? It should not matter whether the resource paths are relative or absolute. [kdenlive] [Bug 366646] Rendering window should calculate and display estimated output size
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=366646 Wegwerfchanged: What|Removed |Added CC||wegwerf-1-...@gmx.de Status|UNCONFIRMED |RESOLVED Resolution|--- |WONTFIX --- Comment #1 from Wegwerf --- I don't see any way to implement this in any sensible manner, especially as our encoding engine is ffmpeg, and ffmpeg to the best of my knowledge doesn't implement any render output prediction. From my own projects I know that I have footage that causes high variations in rendered output size, depending on the kind of footage. So a short clip of real video causes 25% growth, despite being only 40s as opposed to 15mins of total runtime. https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=366261 Wegwerfchanged: What|Removed |Added Resolution|--- |FIXED Status|UNCONFIRMED |RESOLVED CC||wegwerf-1-...@gmx.de --- Comment #3 from Wegwerf --- On a recent Kdenlive installed from project ppas on Kubuntu 16.04LTS, I properly see vidstab and can successfully run the vidstab job. I remember seeing some fix for the job detection, but this should not be at the root cause of this bug report. I suspect this to be a distro packaging issue. [kdenlive] [Bug 364318] git master: regression: effect is totally "ineffective" (with regression project)
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=364318 --- Comment #4 from Wegwerf--- This issue is still present with recent git master: loading the example project and playing the center clip in the timeline, the first ramp-up of blur works correctly. But the ramp-down at the end doesn't work at all. All attempts at editing, changing, removing, and readding the corresponding keyframes does not yield any sensible result, as far as the final keyframe is concerned. The last but one keyframe behaves correctly, though. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[kdenlive] [Bug 368875] "Position and Zoom" effect creates white line and dots outside clip
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=368875 Wegwerfchanged: What|Removed |Added Status|UNCONFIRMED |RESOLVED Resolution|--- |FIXED CC||wegwerf-1-...@gmx.de --- Comment #8 from Wegwerf --- I've tried with recent frei0r/MLT fixes and a problematic project of mine where I saw this kind of corruption as reported here; it's gone now. So I'm now closing this as resolved fixed. As for the Affine transition: a quick poll in our G+ community (https://plus.google.com/103555172011502893674/posts/ijcVd2FsbKa) showed that 16% out of 31 Kdenlive users use Affine on a regular basis as their most-used transition. [kdenlive] [Bug 369505] Audio and video clips randomly moves in the timeline after mysterius duplication of clips.
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=369505 Wegwerfchanged: What|Removed |Added Status|UNCONFIRMED |NEEDSINFO Resolution|--- |WAITINGFORINFO CC||wegwerf-1-...@gmx.de --- Comment #1 from Wegwerf --- Emanual, this kind of bug is ugly, and as I experienced it myself I can understand your sentiment. In order to track down such timeline corruption issues, we need a (minimized) example project, together with a concise description of the steps required to reproduce. There is no other way we can help you. I know from experience, as I sent in several such bug reports over time, where only the clear step list together with an example project helped the developers to fix those bugs. [kwin] [Bug 369317] Kwin crash with gles
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=369317 Martin Gräßlinchanged: What|Removed |Added Resolution|--- |UPSTREAM Status|UNCONFIRMED |RESOLVED --- Comment #9 from Martin Gräßlin --- I just had a look at the implementation and alas our code does the correct checks - see libkwineffects/kwinglutils.cpp method GLVertexBuffer::initStatic (around like 2290) In short it's: if (GLPlatform::instance()->isGLES()) { GLVertexBufferPrivate::haveSyncFences = hasGLVersion(3, 0); } else { GLVertexBufferPrivate::haveSyncFences = hasGLVersion(3, 2) || hasGLExtension("GL_ARB_sync"); } if (GLVertexBufferPrivate::haveBufferStorage && GLVertexBufferPrivate::haveSyncFences) { if (qgetenv("KWIN_PERSISTENT_VBO") != QByteArrayLiteral("0")) { GLVertexBufferPrivate::streamingBuffer->d->persistent = true; } } Only if the d->persistent is true the glFenceSync is called. Thus the checks look correct to me. We check for either GLES 3.0, or GL 3.2 or GL_ARB_sync. Our code cannot do more. If the upstream project is broken in that regard, it's unfortunate. I guess we need to get distros to switch to the fork. Ah I'm not happy with that development. That was kind of what I was afraid of to happen when we switch to epoxy. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[kdenlive] [Bug 369653] Parole and other media players will not autoplay saved mp4 video files after rendering.
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=369653 --- Comment #3 from Phillip Sear--- I have just added my standard project file, which I use to create the videos, and I hope this shows how they are rendered. A typical path for a completed video is: /home/phillip/Videos/Bernhard Lufer Zu Grossvaters Zeiten1 18 4 1896.mp4 . The file title includes all the elements I use in the YouTube video description (I use Kdenlive to create videos for YouTube). It is just that the automatic playback of created videos does not work, because the filename seems to be split up. I never had this problem with versions of Kdenlive prior to 16.08. Do let me know if you need any further information. Regards, Phillip Sear -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[plasmashell] [Bug 370306] New: no option to show 12-hour time without displaying the AM/PM part
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=370306 Bug ID: 370306 Summary: no option to show 12-hour time without displaying the AM/PM part Product: plasmashell Version: 5.8.0 Platform: unspecified OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: wishlist Priority: NOR Component: Digital Clock Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org Reporter: wolft...@gmail.com because the space used by Digital Clock is relevant to the font-size and the fit in various contexts, the ability to hide the AM/PM part of 12-hour time is valuable. Of course, anyone viewing local time knows whether it is morning or evening already without the AM/PM part, so it really isn't necessary. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Uncheck 24-hour time 2. Notice that the 12-hour time always shows the AM/PM part and no option is available to hide that Here is a modification that successfully hides the AM/PM part: In `/usr/share/plasma/plasmoids/org.kde.plasma.digitalclock/contents/ui/DigitalClock.qml`, replace `return Qt.formatTime(currentTime, main.timeFormat);` with `return Qt.formatTime(currentTime, 'h:mm ap').replace(' am', '').replace(' pm', '');` The only trouble is that the time can now be large enough to bump into the date when that is shown. Some additional modification should be added to ensure some small margin between the date and time. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=370305 Bug ID: 370305 Summary: Plasma becomes black after resetting default colors in kcm colors Product: plasmashell Version: 5.8.0 Platform: Archlinux Packages OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: major Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: k...@davidedmundson.co.uk Reporter: elvis.angelac...@kde.org CC: bhus...@gmail.com, plasma-b...@kde.org Hi, I was not sure where to file this report, so please move it to the right component if necessary. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. $ kcmshell5 colors 2. Click Defaults 3. Click Apply Actual Results: http://imgur.com/a/dSAYk Expected Results: Windows and plasma panels should still be visible. I'm using Xorg, I had Breeze (non dark) as default theme set. Note that neither 'killall plasmashell; plasmashell' nor 'kwin_x11 --replace' helped. However, I was able to workaround the bug by running 'kcmshell5 kcm_lookandfeel' and switching the breeze style (e.g. from Breeze to Breeze Dark or viceversa). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

Depending on the filling stage of MLT/ffmpeg decoder queues, and the complexity of the clips, when you start timeline playback near a transition, playback may stutter. [krusader] [Bug 370304] filelight crash after deleting directory with many small files.
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=370304 Volker Siegelchanged: What|Removed |Added CC||m...@volker-siegel.de --- Comment #1 from Volker Siegel --- I found that, after this crash, there where still files left to delete (137 MB). So it crashed during deleting files - looks like it was triggered by interacting with the UI during deleting. Also, I had a similar crash later, and noticed that there was a lot of X request traffic while the UI was blocked. (There was some window getting and loosing the focus about 6 times per second, flickering the focus highlight. ) I was running compiz, and, as an assumption based on the CPU loads, krusader created requests at about 20% CPU core load, making X and compiz running at about 100% CPU each. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
