Workaround: add new relations in the SQL still works (using WHERE tableX.fieldX
= tableY.fieldY).
By the way, the issue only relates to using drag and drop and does not affect
queries that are already saved: ex

Could be. I reported this because PS reads transparency from that file and
Krita doesn't... Also in PS you can save file without alpha channel and turn

It seems that digiKam uses all CPU cores only by using the options "Scan again
and merge results" and "Detect faces" (or "Detect and recognize faces").
By using "Skip images already scanned" it uses only one core.
