The xcb useflag is enabled globally on my system (i.e. it is present in the
output of emerge --info). So as far as I see qtgui is built with xkbcommon
support.

plasmashell crashes on image drag'n'drop from Telegram onto folder containment.


Steps to reproduce:

1. Download and run the official Linux GUI client for Telegram:
https://desktop.telegram.org/
2. Send/receive and image in Telegram (you can e.g. send an image to yourself).
3. Configure desktop as a Folder containment.
4. Drag the image from Telegram onto the desktop.
--> plasmashell crashes!

Dolphin does not crash in the same scenario involving Telegram, it just does
nothing.

Hi

It seems that when some programs are trying to activate, when plasma is not
running, it is due to plasma_waitforname being activated by dbus, which is
waiting for something to bind to org.freedesktop.Notifications, ...which under
Weston will not happen, unless I run the notifications plasmoid in
plasmawindowed

Konsole for example, hangs when I press Tab, for the first time, for about a
minute, then it becomes responsive.

On my Kubuntu system, it looks like kded5 handles it, when Plasma is down,
...at least according to xprop. I could be wrong... ...but this is on my own
compiled version that I am seeing this...

Are you sure it is a clean install? Many people are not aware that reinstalling

When attempting to any audio CD to any format, process immediately fails after
start with error "cannot find libcdparanoia". But libcdparanoia and cdparanoia
are installed by default. A versioning issue? Cannot rip CDs with k3b, so a
fundamental feature is not functioning in a mainstream distro, and k3b is
essential KDE software and among top FOSS apps. This is why I classify this bug
as critical, but I do not know know your severity definitions. I apologize if
critical designation is reserved for security issues. If relevant, standard CD
ripping through Dolphin is fully functional. Thank you for taking the time.

very well. If not mistaken, then this intended feature should not have 
dual behavior for the same file? I.e., when viewing the same file, 
vertical scrollbar should be rendered same way. Unlike current kdevelop 
5.1.1, were first rendering after initial starting of kdevelop 
(BUG_ON.png) != the other after doing a file reload (F5).

Have to say it is neat feature, though prefer if the vertical scrollbar 
render/behave as regular vertical scrollbar, yet when hovering the mouse 
cursor over it shows the mini preview, would be great to have some 
personalization of this feature.

Oh, attachment 106685 indeed looks like a bug. The file is long and the
scrollbar should be fully used (as it is after pressing F5). I've never seen
this behaviour myself, but I'll move this to the ktexteditor project, where it
belongs.

I have the same issue with similar strace output. It seems that issue reprodces
after first or second hit on TAB and doesn't reproduces after that.

Now the only remaining TODO is the following one:

If there are multiple notifications to be shown at the same time, only the
first item is messed up as 1px line, the other notifications are fine
(dimensions & position).
