No, that's about the xorg Intel driver. Nobody uses this nowadays, everyone is
on modesettings.

I totally agree with Luca Carlon. Digikam needs a simple and immediate action
to open images in fullscreen (no slideshow!). His concept using a double click
and ESC is simple and easy and it is used in many other media players/viewers.

Oh no, snap, I have been burned. I have been polite in the past. This has been
reported, repeatedly. Nothing is being done so it is apparent you all do not
care. Why bothering asking for reports when nothing gets done? I am done with
politeness. I stated I was considering dropping kde and that is what I am going
to do with your fine answer. Good riddance. It's no wonder kde is not a
favorite anymore. It is also a memory hog, but you all know that already.

Thanks, you are really fast :)

But the Point chart still has thick outlines.
All other chart types are looking fine.

If I see it correctly, you are not setting the width of the pens in
SKGTableWithGraph::drawPoint for mode 5 and up.

My thought was that since .EXEs contain executable code, parsing them for icons
contains the risk of executing maliciously-crafted code. But I have no idea how
the parsing is actually done, or even what it does (I have no windows EXEs
handy to test). It's trivial to turn that on by default too if people find
themselves feeling strongly about the matter.

... I'm not clear on how parsing out icons from Windows .exe files are a
security risk. It then makes me wonder: how are .exe files parsed? Are they
scanned for a resource chunk where the icon is read and then displayed? Or
something else?

Just a helpful suggestion: you catch more flies with honey than vinegar. Saying
"I hate Plasma 5" and "I do not know what direction you all are headed, but it
doesn't look like forward" in the context of asking people to do work for you
doesn't generally fill them with great desire to do it. :) A little politeness
goes a long way, especially on the internet where we can't tell if you're being
sarcastic or your rhetorical style is jokingly hyperbolic.

after you close the window? After a reboot? At seemingly random intervals?
Exact steps to reproduce would help us investigate your issue.

Yes, I do not have BD medium for testing, and the simulator is not able to

I believe that adding a slideshow clip is impossible for now (if you tried the:
Add SlideShow Clip option). As for getting a white background, I encountered
the same problem. Sometimes it would render some images (in .png) and not
others. Try to copy the ffmpeg 3.2.4 bin folder files in the main folder of
kdenlive, it solved it for me. There's a youtube video that shows different
image formats being used and rendered in .mp4 format perfectly:

After locking the screen, it is possible to use the Shift-Insert keyboard
combination to paste the current clipboard content into (at least) the password
input field, which get shown as asterisks, hence revealing the exact length of
the current clipboard contents string at least, eventually worse.

I have reported this bug before. I have added my own desktop images folder for
the slideshow, initially my images are used then system default images start
showing up and my select folders are not listed. This is irritating to say the
least. kde hasn't been saving the folders I add for the slideshow since version
4 was released. The default images are awful. Please get this fixed. By the
way, I hate Plasma 5, especially the breeze themes. That is why I am resisting
upgrading to LinuxMint 18. I am seriously looking to drop kde altogether. I do
not know what direction you all are headed, but it doesn't look like forward.

IMHO increasing the contrast in the manner I've indicated makes it easier to
read and easier on the eyes, not harder. Black text on a light gray background
is not in the least bit "harsh." On the contrary, it's very readable. But the
less black the text is, the less so this becomes; it become muddier and harder
to read, increasing eyestrain.

I understand that on the first look the tooltip wording could be misleading.
But logically it makes sense. There are 3 possible states with this wording:
- Clear Job List
- Pause All Jobs
- Resume Job List

Clicking on the button icon will execute expected action. Dropdown arrow part
of any toolbar button is there for extended options. In this case it's no
different.

Although I realize that in ideal world dropdown arrow could have slightly
different tooltip - I believe the button with dropdown arrow
(KToolBarPopupAction which extends QWidgetAction) cannot have multiple
tooltips. Meaning it cannot show different tooltip for dropdown-arrow-part of
the button.

I also don't know of any other toolbar button implementation in Qt/KF5 with
this required feature. Please anybody correct me if I'm wrong.

I've investigated this bug and it's quite strange. I'm not a Qt expert nor I
know how Amarok is architectured, so I have to give up. But before doing it let
me share some points.

What I've found is the following: the model of the podcast collection, the one
that derives from PlaylistBrowserModel, somehow does not expose the list of
providerActions properly. When data() is called for
PrettyTreeRoles::DecoratorRole, it either returns an empty QVariant, or it
returns a QVariantList of multiple QVariant>. This is strange
because in the rest of the code it's always assumed that DecoratorRole is a
QVariant>, and not a list of them, so it sounds wrong.

Then I tried to fix it by returning that QVariant when handling the
DecoratorRole. This case was not present. In case of providers.size() == 1, I
returned a QVariant> with providersActions inside. It almost
worked. When I tried to investigate what it didn't work in
PlaylistBrowserView::actionsFor, basically the QVariant received, instead of
the QVariant>, contained a QVariantList with two identical
elements: each of them was that expected QVariant>.

I could not find the place where that QVariantList is created.

Because in many places .value() is called on the returned QVariant
and because it appears to be a QVariantList instead of just the expected
element, .value() returns an empty list, so no pop-up menu and no hoover
buttons to export the playlists but also to refresh podcasts and other
features.

The strangest thing is that, before trying to investigate, I tested with
standard 2.8 and everything worked, I saw the icons, I saw the pop-up menu.
Then I switched to the git version, and I could confirm the bug. Running again
the default 2.8 from Kubuntu could not solve it, and now it's broken forever.

This may also mean it depends on some config file, more than a bug in the code.

I also modified the sqlite db directly and saved ports both 4300 and 4400 to
two different profiles.

After launching kstars I still saw port numbers zero in both profiles.

I agree with Alex, it would make things harder to understand.

There already are two separate actions to show standalone terminal (F9) and

I'm telling you for the third time, there is no filename in the .ovpn file. 
This bug report is about plasma-nm's failure to process .ovpn files which use
the special identifier "[inline]" to indicate that the certificates and/or keys

Unfortunately the crash is in the OpenGL driver triggered from somewhere in Qt.
This is not our code, we are a victim and there is nothing we can do.

Your backtrace is really good, so please create a bug report against your
OpenGL driver vendor, they are the only one who can fix this problem.

Kstars-bleeding in ubuntu 17.04. 2017-08-19T17:38:19Z 2.8.1

In the profile editor I tried to set phd2 host and address. Host can be set and
saved. However the port remains 0 no matter what I do. 
Editing kstarsrc [Guide] section PHD2Port has no effect. The profile editor
shows zero.

Cliking Connect on the guider panel throws "The connection was refuded by the
peer. Make sure that PHD2 is running, and check that host name and port are
correct".

PHD2 is actually listening on tcp 4300 and 4400. I tried to set both in the
kstarsrc with no success.
