SUMMARY I am currently using KDE Plasma Version 5.12.8, which was included with OpenSUSE Leap 15.0 Distribution. There seems to be an issue I am having with adjusting the Window Border Size in the Configure Desktop > System Settings > Application Style > Window Decorations > Look and Feel of Window Titles. Even if I logout of the KDE Plasma Desktop, the Window Border Size doesn't update after changing the Window Border Size setting. To avoid this, a workaround: change the selection display mode to Mask, this avoids the use of the outline and avoids the cursor showing and moving the selection. [kwin] [Bug 408317] New: login screen bug should update number of active monitors before greeting
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=408317 Bug ID: 408317 Summary: login screen bug should update number of active monitors before greeting Product: kwin Version: 5.15.5 Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: kwin-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: t...@growthpath.com.au Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY Laptop with two external monitors. If laptop lid is closed, laptop display is not active. System suspends. System is resumed by opening the laptop lid. The greeter is displayed, but it gets the screen configuration wrong. Login on the laptop display is fine, but instead of the a login display being shown on the other two screens one each, there is one login screen shared by both external monitors, with the password entry dialog split. The laptop is a full HD display. One external monitor is 4K (in native resolution, not scaled) and the second is 1920x1200 After logging in, the display configuration is refreshed and there are no problems. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Close laptop lid, so that only the two external displays are used. 2. Allow the system to suspend 3. Resume by opening the laptop display OBSERVED RESULT Instead of each of the three screens getting a perfectly sized login screen, the two external monitors share a badly sized login screen split across both. EXPECTED RESULT The display configuration should be refreshed before showing the login screens. Then, each of the three monitors would get a well-formed login screen. Indeed, where the arrow points, Evince is sharper than Okular, resulting in a higher contrast and a differently perceived black tone. Could have these reasons: a) Both have a slightly different alignment of the scanned image, resulting in different sampling of rendered pixels which are not exactly on image pixels. b) Both have same alignment, but use different filtering. (Bilinear, Bicubic, Nearest Neighbour,... In fact, Okular does not use nearest neighbour, causing smeared edges on scans. Maybe Evince does?) c) this happened just at random for exactly these zoom factors. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[kdenlive] [Bug 408083] The first keyframe of the effects can not be moved
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=408083 --- Comment #2 from RafaMar --- (In reply to emohr from comment #1) > We had a lot of crashes due to not have a keyframe as default on the > beginning of an effect. Why you can't inverting animaitons anymore due to > this keyframe? I imagined it was for dating, but it would not be better to forget about a keyframe as default, if you do not need to animate, so there has to be a frame, and if you have to cheer up, I'm sorry I can not move it. What I just said is like this in all the applications I work with, Premiere, Sony Vegas, After effects, Blender, Maya, Combustion, Particle illusion ... etc, if you do not have to animate, there are no keyframes, when we animate the insert ... this concept if you can integrate it would be a breakthrough in kdenlive. Why can not I invest an animation? because simply because I can not move the keyframe, since a very usual technique to animate an input and an output of an object, whatever it is, is to make the input as a clip the development another and the output is not more than the same clip of the entrance where the keyframe of the beginning has been taken to the end and the one of the end to the beginning. [digikam] [Bug 406937] Cannot change icon theme in appimage
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=406937 --- Comment #12 from Maik Qualmann --- Ok, fine. All icons are now also available in the current AppImage. Theme: other Icon themes. I tested a loader for all existing Icon themes in the system. The problem is that none can replace Breeze to completeness. The other Icon themes look terrible in part. Oxygen is still the most complete. But since many icons are no longer suitable for certain actions, it is no longer recommended. It might be the basis for a "digiKam Icon theme". From Qt-5.12 it is possible to set a fallback icon theme. Maybe an option to make something out of it. Maik -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[kdenlive] [Bug 408085] The way to order the effects is very bad
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=408085 --- Comment #2 from RafaMar --- (In reply to emohr from comment #1) If I refer to the new classification, in the previous versions, the 18.12, for example, all the effects were visible by default and very well ordered in their respective families. It was wonderful. The most "needed" is very subjective and relative to the type of assembly that is made. In fact it is what I see most complain about the forums and facebook, people believe that they have removed much of the effects. I honestly do not see this new distribution as a good idea. The ideal would be to put back the option all and ordered as they were before. Then if as an option you want to put the one that is now main as one more option, but ideally, the main one would be all as it is in professional editors. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
