Nothing can be done in System Tray. KDED starts a DBus service which holds all

In a nutshell, because the Component Chooser KCM now has a good UI, while the
File Associations KCM has a bad UI.
Part of the reason for the latter is because the File Associations KCM uses

IMHO:
Table view is a huge waste of screen space, especially for widescreen displays.

That's a bug in LibreOffice. Please file a bug for them, telling them that when
using the KDE5 VCL, they should respect
